Privacy policy

This notice explains how 3D COLLECTIVE LLC, trading as 3D Collective, handles personal information in connection with 3dcollective.shop, orders and customer service. It also explains how to contact us about information relating to you. The particular rights available to you depend on applicable law and the circumstances of the processing.

Who is responsible and how to contact us

3D COLLECTIVE LLC is the business responsible for its use of information to operate the store and respond to customers. For privacy questions or requests, email support@3dcollective.shop. Our published telephone contact is +1 505-646-0687. You can also consult our Contact Information page.

The company's registered office is 17350 State Highway 249, Suite 220, Houston, TX 77064, United States. This is a registered-agent office, not a product returns destination. Use the privacy email for a data request so it can be routed to the business.

Information involved in purchases and inquiries

When you buy a product, the information needed to process the transaction includes your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, items ordered, selected options, order reference and payment status. Your messages may also include delivery instructions, a requested correction, return details or information needed to resolve a complaint.

If you send photographs to show a damaged item, the photographs and accompanying explanation become part of the support information for that matter. Include only information relevant to your request. Avoid sending images of identification documents, unrelated people or personal possessions unless there is a specific need that has been explained to you.

Where a product offers customer-supplied wording or other personalization, information you submit for that purpose is used to understand and fulfill that request. Do not submit another person's sensitive information or content you are not entitled to provide.

If you use a customer-account feature, the information associated with that account is used to provide its functions and identify your interactions. An account is not a substitute for contacting support if you need help exercising a privacy right.

Website and payment information

Operating an online store involves technical information such as IP addresses, device and browser details, requests for pages, session identifiers and security events. Session technologies can support a cart, checkout and account access. Our Cookies Policy explains these technologies and browser controls.

Payment credentials entered into checkout are handled through the payment service used for the transaction. The business uses order and transaction information to check payment status, resolve payment issues and administer refunds. Do not send complete card numbers, card security codes, passwords or bank authentication codes to customer service. The fact that we accept a card brand does not mean that the card network is the store's payment processor.

Purposes of processing

We use information relevant to an interaction to:

  • Receive and administer an order, record selected products and arrange fulfillment.
  • Communicate about an order, delivery, return, cancellation or refund.
  • Answer product questions and investigate complaints or reported problems.
  • Maintain business records needed for accounting, taxes and legal obligations.
  • Protect the store and customers against fraud, misuse and security incidents.
  • Establish, exercise or defend legal claims and respond to lawful requests.

Information needed to fulfill a purchase is different from information used for optional promotional activity. An inquiry or purchase does not itself authorize every marketing or tracking purpose. If you receive marketing communications, you can use the provided unsubscribe route or contact us to ask that they stop. Essential order or security messages may still be necessary.

Recipients and service-provider roles

Shopify supplies the ecommerce platform for the intended Shopify store. Its handling of personal information is described in Shopify's Privacy Policy, including processing it performs for merchants and processing for its own services. A platform notice does not replace this business's responsibilities for its own use of information.

Recipients involved in providing a transaction can include the payment service processing it, the party preparing the order, delivery services, and services supporting business email and customer support. The information needed by each depends on its task: for example, delivery requires a recipient name and delivery details, while a refund requires relevant transaction information.

Relevant records may also be disclosed to professional advisers, authorities or courts for legal obligations, disputes or protection against fraud. If business ownership changes, transaction-related disclosures remain subject to applicable privacy obligations. Such circumstances do not authorize an unrelated new purpose without any notice or choice required by law.

Retention

The period for keeping information depends on why it is needed. Order and financial records may need to be retained for applicable tax, accounting and legal requirements. Support records may remain necessary while an inquiry, warranty issue, dispute or claim is unresolved. Security information has a different purpose from a customer order record.

When considering a deletion request, we assess whether information is still needed for an outstanding transaction, a legal obligation or another permitted reason. We explain an applicable limitation rather than treating it as a reason to ignore the request. This notice does not set a single retention period for every category or promise that closing an account immediately erases all records.

Location of processing

Information used by an online platform or service provider can be processed in locations different from the customer's location. Shopify explains its international processing in its own privacy materials. A US delivery address does not establish that every service provider stores or processes data only in the United States. Contact us with a question about information associated with your transaction or the providers involved.

Privacy rights and requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to confirm processing, access information, receive a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, or opt out of particular uses such as sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Some laws also provide rights concerning sensitive information, certain profiling decisions and appeals. These rights have conditions and exceptions; this description does not assert that every statute applies to every transaction.

Email support@3dcollective.shop and describe the request. Provide enough information to locate the relevant interaction, such as the email used for an order. We may request proportionate information to verify identity or an agent's authority before disclosing or changing records. Do not send sensitive documents unless requested through an appropriate process.

Where a right applies, we will handle the request within the applicable legal timeframe and explain any permitted extension or refusal. If you disagree with a decision, reply with the subject “Privacy appeal” and explain your concern. We will review it and provide any response and further complaint information required by applicable law. You may also contact the relevant state regulator. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control, have specific purposes and may trigger obligations under applicable law. They are different from the older Do Not Track setting. You can send a privacy question or request by email; contacting us is not a replacement for any browser signal we are legally required to recognize.

Children and sensitive information

Please do not send sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for a purchase or support request. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so the matter can be investigated and handled under applicable law. Product themes associated with games or collectibles do not by themselves determine whether a website is directed to children.

External platforms

Links to 3DCollectiveLLC on Etsy take you to a separate platform with its own terms and privacy practices. If you place an Etsy order or send an Etsy message, the business receives the information the platform makes available for that interaction. Website and Etsy records should be identified by their respective order references when requesting help.

Security, concerns and changes

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account and email access, and contact us if you suspect misuse involving a store order. Our Secure Checkout page provides practical precautions.

We may update this notice as the business or its processing changes. A change to this text does not itself supply consent where consent is required. We will provide any additional notice or choice required for a material change. Contact support@3dcollective.shop with questions about the version applying to your interaction.
